Meet Bill
For over 20 years, Bill Anderson has cultivated an impressive career in Hilton Head Island's thriving real estate industry. Strengthened by experience in multiple facets of the industry, Bill offers his clientele a true expert perspective, particularly in acquiring income properties and second homes.
Bill spent the first of many childhood summers on Hilton Head Island starting in 1981, with his family. The Fredericksburg, VA, native was immediately captivated! Bill officially relocated to the Lowcountry in 1996 by way of the College of Charleston, graduating with degrees in History and Communications. As a college student, Bill took his love of history to the actual streets of Charleston, as a tour guide for the ghost tours. If you took a tour in the late 90’s, there’s a good chance he was your guide.
Bill’s real estate career started first, as a Real Estate Agent and then evolved into a property manager as well. His extensive knowledge of both sides of the market propelled him to the position of general manager for one of the area's top vacation rental companies. He served as the company's Broker-in-Charge for six years, overseeing all of the South Carolina transactions and sales force. This background solidified him as an income property expert. In recognition, he was one of 15 employees out of 200,000 awarded the company's highest honor. This accomplishment landed Bill and his wife, Kelli, in Paris for the company’s gala celebration, where they had the pleasure of meeting the other winners and their families. The trip to Paris happened to coincide with Bill’s birthday, his 36th. Fun was had by all!
Bill’s work ethic has continued to be acknowledged by receiving the Top Producer award for Hilton Head/Bluffton in both 2023 and 2024, with Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty®. As honored as he is by this recognition, Bill would say that the greatest honor has been the clients that he’s worked with, that have become dear friends.
His love for the island does not only relate to real estate, but to the community that he and his family reside in. He’s been a huge supporter of Sea Turtle Patrol, not only as a donor, but also as a member on the board. Whether he’s rounding up donations, or out there on the beach, filling in the holes and cleaning up debris, he is there supporting. Bill was also introduced to Memory Matters, which he is a donor. This organization deals with Alzheimer’s research and care. Bill also supports the Heritage Tournament and Foundation, which is dear to his heart, as he’s been attending the tournament for over 20 years. He sponsors a skybox annually, where he gets to spend time with clients and friends, while watching some great golf!
When Bill is not working, you’ll find him on the Pickleball court, fishing, enjoying time on the beach or just relaxing and cooking with Kelli and their beloved dogs.
